The practical terms for using Swift Tab Writer.
About Swift Tab Writer
Swift Tab Writer is operated by Luke Dunn, a sole trader in England, trading as Swift Tab Writer. Contact support@swifttab.app. These terms apply to the website and service. They do not override rights you have under applicable consumer law.
Your account
Provide accurate account information, keep your credentials secure and tell us if your account is compromised. Use the service only where you can enter a valid agreement or have appropriate permission from a parent or guardian. You are responsible for the activity you authorise on your account.
Your content stays yours
You retain ownership of the original content you create. You give us permission to host, process, display, sync and back it up as needed to provide the features you choose. You must have the rights or permission needed for content you upload or share. We do not take ownership of your riffs or songs.
Collaboration and sharing
You control invitations and available access permissions. Collaborators can affect content according to the access you grant. Public sharing creates a snapshot accessible to anyone with its link; exported images and text can be copied independently. Review what you share and who has access. Revoking access cannot remove copies already made by recipients.
Free and Premium
Free includes 500 Tab Positions across your account, all songs and instrument parts. A chord counts as one Tab Position; spacing does not count. There is no normal song-count limit. Premium removes the Tab Position limit rather than reserving ordinary editor features. Complimentary access may be granted separately and may have an expiry or be withdrawn on the terms communicated when granted.
Subscriptions and prices
Monthly and yearly Premium plans are offered where billing is available. Planned UK prices are £2.49 per month and £19.99 per year. The actual price, currency, taxes, period and renewal terms are shown by the checkout/provider before you confirm. Billing uses RevenueCat Web Billing on web, Apple on iOS or Google Play on Android where those purchase options have launched. Do not assume a platform is available merely because it is described here. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through the originating provider.
Cancellation, expiry and refunds
Manage Subscription directs you to the provider that owns your active subscription, regardless of the device you are using. Cancellation stops future renewal; access normally continues until the paid period ends. When Premium expires, your account returns to Free. Existing work is not automatically deleted or hidden. If you are above 500 positions, you may view, export, share where permitted, reduce content and make edits that do not increase usage; adding positions is blocked until usage is below the allowance or Premium becomes active. Refund and withdrawal requests are handled under applicable law and the relevant provider process. Contact us if you need help. Nothing here removes statutory cancellation, refund or other consumer rights. Deleting an account is not the same as cancelling a subscription.
Acceptable use
Do not use SwiftTab for unlawful content, infringement, harassment, fraud, malware, unauthorised access or attempts to bypass permissions or allowance controls. Do not disrupt other users or abuse service resources. Report suspected abuse to support@swifttab.app.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep the service reliable, but maintenance, network problems and provider outages can interrupt access. Keep independent exports of work that matters to you. Features may change as the product develops; we will provide appropriate notice of material changes affecting paid services and respect your applicable rights. Offline availability depends on successful local storage and your device.
Suspension and ending your account
You may stop using the service and request account deletion. We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to address serious abuse, security risks, legal requirements or a material breach of these terms. Where appropriate we will explain the reason and allow you to contact us. We will handle affected paid access and content in accordance with applicable law.
Responsibility and liability
We are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill. We do not exclude liability where doing so would be unlawful, including fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation or death or personal injury caused by negligence. We are not responsible for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control where we take reasonable steps to limit their effect. Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
Law and contact
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, without depriving consumers elsewhere of mandatory protections or the right to bring proceedings in courts available under applicable law. For questions, complaints, subscription assistance or account requests, email support@swifttab.app. We will try to resolve concerns fairly.
